The Laboratory Animal Center was completed in 2023. As an important supporting platform for pharmaceutical R&D, the center provides various technical services to internal company projects, as well as to surrounding enterprises and universities in the park, including experimental animal quarantine, animal husbandry, animal surgery, animal behavior analysis, and Conduct animal experiments for others. The center's facilities include barrier and conventional environments, equipped with corresponding laboratories, testing equipment , animal anesthesia equipment , and operating rooms. The barrier facility is equipped with an Independent Ventilation Cage (IVC) system, meeting the husbandry needs of mice, rats, and guinea pigs. The conventional facility uses national standard cages and a primary reverse osmosis direct drinking water system, meeting the husbandry needs of rabbits, dogs, and miniature pigs.

The Laboratory Animal Center operates under the supervision of the company's "Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee" (IACUC). Adhering to the principles of respecting life, treating animals humanely, respecting science, and being people-oriented, the center provides high-quality animal husbandry conditions and various animal experiment technical support services.

Engineering Setup (HVAC)

Dual backup HVAC units and dual power supplies are adopted to ensure stable round-the-clock operation.

Monitoring and Alarms

Automatic environmental temperature and humidity monitoring with mobile/phone alarm upon deviation allows real-time control of the animal room environment.

Animal Husbandry

Provides high-standard 316L stainless steel-based primary reverse osmosis purified water and automatic animal drinking water systems.

Regular water quality monitoring. Feed comes with routine nutritional component test reports.

Service Capabilities

Daily husbandry management for animals in research projects (including cage washing and animal feeding), animal health monitoring services.
